It had been a couple of weeks since Seanwhite had patched things up with his stepfather. Though we kept going back to my world often, today we were spending time together in his world, having a picnic in the forest. "(y/n), is everything ok? You seem out of it today" A familiar voice pulled me out of my thoughts. "Everything's fine, Seanwhite, just thinking about how wonderful the past few weeks have been." I responded, smiling a little. He smiled back.
Today the sun was shining and it was a very warm day. Seanwhite had his arm around me, eating an apple with his free hand, he still loved apples after all. "Well, either way, I'm glad you managed to patch things up with your stepfather" I told him, still smiling, a small blush creeping onto my face when he pressed his lips to my cheek, leaning my head on his shoulder as I stared at the apple in my hand. Seanwhite rested his cheek on the top of my head, the small wind calmly blowing through my (h/l) (h/c) hair.
I took another bite out of the apple in my hand, a few minutes later letting out a yawn after I'd finished the bit of apple in my mouth. "If you're tired, it's ok if you want to get some sleep now, (y/n)" Seanwhite assured me, smiling at me. "I'll keep you safe." He added, removing his hand from my arm and stroking my hair gently. "But we're on a date, I'd feel bad if I fell asleep on you..." I trailed off. He put his apple down on the blanket as he lifted his head off the top of mine. "You don't need to feel bad about that, I noticed the dark circles under your eyes this morning, I'll stay right here with you." He insisted, cupping my chin in his free hand.
I sighed a little, lifting my head up as I did so. Seanwhite lifted my chin up, softly and gently pressing his lips to mine. I kissed back immediately, both of us closing our eyes as we shared a short, passionate kiss that only lasted for a couple of minutes. As he pulled away he let go of my chin. I decided to humour him, since he probably wasn't going to drop the subject. "Well, if you insist, I guess there's no harm in it." I sighed, laying my head in his lap as I lay down on the blanket. He smiled warmly, resting his hand on my cheek, leaning down to kiss the top of my head. He stopped stroking my hair and picked his apple back up.
If I was being totally honest, the calming atmosphere that came with being around Seanwhite like this made me feel safe. He always made me feel safe. My eyelids fluttered, my eyes closing as he started to stroke my cheek with his thumb. I guess I was more tired than I thought, as it didn't take me long to fall asleep. Seanwhite smiled warmly as he gently kissed the top of my head once more before taking another bite from his apple.
